In June of 2022 Kaitlyn became the Director of Aquatics at Triangle Swim School. She has worked as a swim instructor with TSS since October of 2020. Kaitlyn O’Donnell has over a decade of experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and manager at various aquatic facilities. She swam competitively throughout her childhood particularly “enjoying” butterfly and distance freestyle events. Kaitlyn’s swim experience is paired with a master’s degree in psychology, this degree has been a major tool in helping many students overcome the mental barrier that stand between them and their goals. Kaitlyn has a passion to be the very best instructor for her students, but more importantly she wants to provide all staff with the resources they need to be the best instructors they can be. To her, “The goal will never be to become the best coach in the pool or the most successful person in a room. Instead, true growth is marked by our ability to help each individual improve and succeed, so that every person in our pool is the best in their own right”.
